Privacy Policy

If you allow analytics, PaktorPlaces collects aggregated usage events such as page and content views, searches, filters, session engagement, device and browser category, referral source, and outbound CTA clicks. We use this information to improve discovery and recommendations.

Analytics can be declined from the consent prompt. We do not collect precise location, form contents, passwords, or payment information in analytics events. CMS editorial notes and source notes are stored in Sanity for internal use and are not rendered on the public site.

If you choose “Sort by distance,” your browser requests your location and uses it on this device to reorder listings. PaktorPlaces does not save or send that location to its servers.

When you choose to load review snippets, PaktorPlaces requests the listing’s Google Place ID, rating, and review data from Google Maps Platform. Google receives ordinary request metadata. Review authors and source links are shown with each snippet, and you can open Google Maps to see or report the original review. Google processes this information under its privacy policy.

When bot protection is enabled on forms, Cloudflare Turnstile processes browser signals to detect automated submissions. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

Newsletter signup is embedded from Zoho Campaigns. Loading the form connects your browser to Zoho. If you subscribe, Zoho collects your email address to manage confirmation, email updates, and your subscription. You can unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter email. We store when the newsletter popup was shown in this browser so it appears automatically at most once per week. No email address is stored in that preference.
